Why I Built PowerX Keys

So here's the thing. I'm a video editor, and I was spending way too much of my day just pressing the same key combos over and over. Ctrl+Shift+Delete to delete clips, then move, then split, then again, then again. My hands were actually hurting after long editing sessions.

I tried a bunch of macro tools but they all sucked. Either they had 500 menus for something that should take 2 clicks, or they ran so slow that it messed up the timing completely. I just wanted something where I hit record, do the thing once, and it handles the rest. That's it. That simple.

Couldn't find it, so I made it. What started as a tiny automation script is now a full desktop app with a drag-and-drop visual timeline, screen image recognition, a phone remote control server, and a built-in AI assistant. It took over a year of evenings and weekends of hard work to bridge that gap, but I'm proud of how stable it has become.

PowerX Keys is completely free, with no trial periods, no hidden paywalls, and no locked Pro features. Every single tool is unlocked for everyone. If you want to support the project, there's a tip jar below, but that's entirely optional.

I built this for myself, and now I'm giving it away because I think other people deserve to save their hands and time too.
